CAFPC Reports

These reports embody CAFPC’s efforts to ensure that our public policies reflect the needs of California’s diverse communities.

Every year, the California Food Policy Council (CAFPC), in collaboration with Roots of Change and the most important national and state policy nonprofits, completes its Report on California Legislation Related to Food and Farming. This report is one of many ROC-CAFPC tools for engaging and empowering all Californians, regardless of race, class or nativity, to become knowledgeable of existing or potential laws that may have an impact on their lives. The report is also the best way to show the Legislature and the Governor that there is an active constituency watching their every food policy move. The CAFPC may from time to time publish other reports that reflect the CAFPC’s efforts to ensure that our public policies reflect the needs of California’s diverse communities, and ensuring that the policy making process is more accessible for people throughout the state.
