Roots of Change has joined forces with Healthy Food Action (HFA). The new Healthy Food Action operates as a collaborative of Roots of Change and the Natural Resources Defense Council. As HFA’s founder, David Wallinga, MD, MPA, of NRDC continues to steer the effort and is now joined by Michael Dimock, of Roots of Change.
Healthy Food Action’s vision is to create a food and farm system that promotes health, justice and sustainability. HFA works to accomplish this through outreach, education and political action through enlisting the support of millions of American health professionals – nurses and dietitians, physicians and psychologists, and anyone who stands behind this vision. With all these voices combined HFA can become a powerful voice for change.
