Slideshow - California Food Policy Council Meeting

Monday, May 7th 2012, marks the first meeting of the new California Food
Policy Council. Twenty-one different organizations gathered at City Hall in San
Francisco on Monday, representing a variety of interests within the food movement.
Janet Brown, an organic farmer, summarized the scope and energy of bringing these
groups together: “We can only fail to describe the significance and importance
of this meeting here today because it will ramify throughout our lifetime and the
lifetimes of many others.”
