HomeGrown Culver City

HomeGrown Culver City, a free event celebrating food, sustainable gardening and an ecological lifestyle will be held on Oct 23rd 2010 at Media Park, Culver City. HomeGrown is an event that celebrates backyard edible gardening, designed by, and for, people that want to get to know their food sources from seed to plate. HomeGrown will unite people and organizations dedicated to teaching and fostering organic gardening in an effort to strengthen the local community of urban farmers. HomeGrown will offer exposure and access to those interested in getting involved in the organic gardening movement by presenting free, hands-on workshops dedicated to the various disciplines of backyard farming.
